Josh Kalis almost looks like he was forced to make the new site sound good but besides that the new site is packed with a bunch of videos, stories and background information about the DC Shoes team and it’s riders.

A well deserved Mag Minute, we are used to great skating every week here. Brett is supposedly studying for a PhD in something at the University of California Berkeley while on the side enjoying his life on the board, slamming down a bunch of bangin tricks.

Rowley x Gonzalez 22 stair video

Flip have recently released some great footage of Geoff Rowley and David Gonzalez battling a mammoth 22 set of stairs in their younger years.

As you can see from the video, it doesn’t go well for either of them. But you’ve got to admire Gonzalez’s resilience. He just keeps going back for more!

Dave Carnie ‘zine collection

Kingshit have put up a video article about skate publisher Dave Carnie’s ‘zine collection that is gnarlier than thou.

The video features a half-naked Carnie talking about skateboarding ‘zines like Andy JenkinsBend ‘zine as well as Swank ‘zine and This Is (Not) My Life.

It’s filmed in the style of a Misfits’ Glenn Danzig video where he talks about his book collection and it’s really funny.

‘This Time Tomorrow’ premiere

Chris Mulhern’s new skate video This Time Tomorrow is being premiered on February 5 in the Trocedero, Philadelphia.

The video, which is themed around the transition from day to night skating, was shot in many different locations including London, Paris and Rome and features riders like Devon Connell, Jimmy McDonald and Lucien Clarke.

The film will then go on a global tour including stops in Europe, Japan and South Africa.
