Kingpin Magazine has just released the first of four videos documenting its DIY skate project, Set in Stone.
Shot by Sam Bailey, this leg of Kingpin’s venerable DIY project reveals Jan Kliewer, Lennie Burmeister and Daryl Nobbs recycling a wasteland into a wonderland at Mellowpark in Berlin, Germany.
Done in collaboration with Emerica and Carhartt, the mission is one of initiative and bare bones skateboarding in teaming up with local scenes and recruiting a solid crew of builders and riders to design, construct and rip their own concrete, beer-soaked paradise.
An inspiring vision of an all-too-rare, productive mentality.
