The Vans team is heading to the Southwest starting October 15th at Val Surf in Los Angeles. I know LA isn’t in the South West, but they are heading to Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas after that.

St. Louis City Museum founder, Bob Cassilly, died Monday while working on his new project, Cementland.
His City Museum was was a wonderland that played host to a few skate sessions including a Trippin’ article we did back in Issue #71. He will be missed; he was one of the good ones.

Artist and High 5 Skateboards impresario, Todd Bratrud has been busy. He has two tumblrs, The Digital Dump for all High 5 happenings and Dead To The World for his iphone photos. In addition to the blogs, Bratrud and Michael Sieben have a show opening at Escapist in Kansas City on October 7th called The Long Way Home.

The original skate shoe just released a mini commercial of their team tearing apart the streets. This is a mini preview to a full length film we hope they release very soon, it’s long overdue.
