Vans x Collaboratory Series ‘Rodney Smith’

Vans have just released a Rodney Smith video, the latest installment in the Collaboratory series, featuring legendary riders from around the world. 

The episode gives an insight into the life of the East Coast skateboard pioneer known for starting up New York’s first skateboard company Shut Skateboards back in the 80s and later Zoo York, too.

Wise skate sages Adam Schatz, Alyasha Owerka-Moore, Chris Pastras and Stash recall how Smith was revolutionary in his time and give a breakdown of the ‘Rodney speak’.

The series aims to give an inside perspective of the talented people involved in Vans collaborations. Sweet!
