The International Assocation of Skateboarding Companies and Skatelab have named the latest skaters to enter the Skateboarding Hall of Fame.
Those to be named at a ceremony at The Copper Building, Los Angeles on December 4 include Torger Johnson, Stacy Peralta, Steve Caballero, Eric Koston and Bob Burnquist.
However, perhaps most excitingly, Patti McGee – the first female pro skater – will take her well deserved place amongst the skate legends.
Says Todd Huber, founder of Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum: “The goal of the Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum is to assure that these legendary skateboarders are recognized by their peers and will be remembered by future generations.”
All proceeds from the event will go to the Go Skateboarding Foundation.
