A few months back Thrasher and Converse released a video called Prevent This Tragedy. It featured the likes of Nick Trepasso, David Gravette, Sammy Baca, Ethan Fowler, Andrew Allen, Emmanuel Guzman and one of the burliest skaterboarders out there, Devin Appelo. His sections had some of the sketchiest clips of the year, he went f–king huge. He even bruised both of his heels at the same time when he tried to ollie over the clipper.

Skateboarding’s ambassador to the mainstream, Tony Hawk, was at the ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney on Saturday for a stop of the Quiksilver presents Tony Hawk and Friends Skate Jam tour. It started off like any other of the stops until Hawk attempted a backside 540. He spun it fine, but when he landed his front foot was little ofthe board, which sent him into as he described on Twitter a, “b/s revert (chicken-neck) to flat.”

To coincide with the upcoming debut of Street League Skateboarding and the grand opening of the San Diego Microsoft store, Chris Cole, Paul Rodriguez and Rob Dydek put on a little skate demo out in front the shop. So, I guess it’s now cool to be a PC. Maybe, we can get a little Goofy vs. Regular thing going here, but with computer preferences; Mac vs. PC.

A man armed with a pistol, who uses a skateboard as his getaway ride, has struck again in San Diego, CA. This time it was a Wells Fargo on Highland Valley Place. Now, when this guy first struck I didn’t really mind that he was giving skateboarders a bad name, but this time he struck a little too close to home.
