The crew over at the Baker/Deathwish/Shake Junt camp got their weekend warrior on recently in LA and thier Monday Funday on too, and in case you didn’t know last Monday was Go Skateboarding Day. Skate holiday or not these guys will be out destroying the streets and reppin’ their crew. The bosses even got their skate on in this video. It must be National Turn Your Best Am Pro Day because Real skateboards has just announced that Chima Ferguson is now pro. Chima’s been a force in skateboarding for years now. Getting shots in the mags, video clips for his sponsors and even winning the occasional contest. He was may MVP of the Maloof Money Cup NYC, more for his off-the-skateboard-performance. Chaz Ortiz Turns Pro

Zoo York has turned Chaz Ortiz pro just in time for the first stop of this year’s Dew Tour the ISF Skateboarding World Championship in Boston, MA. He’ll be skating against the likes of Paul Rodriguez, Ryan Sheckler and Greg Lutzka at the TD Garden, which is where the Celetics play. Rune’s Shoe Release Party

Converse and the Danish pool destroyer known as Rune Glifberg have finished his first signature shoe under the star logo. And what do you do when you get a shoe? Of course you party. This is the latest in their series of stop-motion skate animations with this one taking place over old electronics and Def Leppard tapes
