Up in Edmonton, Canada the first Etnies Am Getting Paid contest just rapped up, and we have some winners that have been paid…And the lucky Canucks are. Oh wait, I don’t think I can say Canucks, Senator Edmond Muskie lost the Democratic nomination back in 72′ for using that word in a letter, apparently it offends Canadians, even though he never wrote the letter. Skate filmmaker Brent Novak has recently released this short video of freestyle extraordinaire Kilian Martin.
The Spanish-born skater appears to be heavily influenced by Rodney Mullen and seems to be following in his footsteps too, having won the California State Freestyle Pro Championship in 2009.
Says Martin: “I started skating miniramp and street and after a year of skateboarding, I found out how much fun can you get doing freestyle. So I’ve been skatin these three kinds the last years but freestyle is what I love most.”

Elwood have just released the latest of their team videos, this time featuring Vincent Alvarez.
Ramblin’ features the California native proving that he can both boardslide and take a slam like a champ.
It such prowess that saw him finish sixth in the street finals at the CPH Pro in Copenhagen, Denmark this weekend.
He’s also on Lakai and Chocolate too, so you know you’re gonna see loads more of him in future…
