I first found Dillon Buss’s part in this video – Put Out Or Get Out – over on 48Blocks and then I discovered the rest – this is the type of skating I like, fast and raw! Enjoy the videos here.
A couple of parts are missing due to the already know music infringement bollocks in different countries – check out YouTube in your country, maybe you are allowed to watch the other two parts.

Starting the day off on Europeskate with a *drum roll* music tip! No way but true. I seem to hooked on Gainesville, Florida right now. Listen in to “Anchor Arms” right here…
Here’s how they introduce themselves:
“After years of toiling in relative obscurity, Gainesville’s ANCHOR ARMS burst onto the rock scene in late 2007 following a successful tour of America’s heartland opening up for Jon Bon Jovi’s solo project. The ARM’s singer/songwriter/lite beer drinker Jim Austin relates a now infamous story from the band’s early years: “A lot of people don’t know this, but that line in ‘Dead or Alive’ where Jon sang ‘I’ve seen a million faces/and I’ve rocked them all-’ well, that was a line from a now-deceased ARMS song called ‘Torpedos.’ We went ahead and let them use it, and now we’re best of friends. Richie Sambora is totally rad.” When not providing assistance to aging rockers, the threesome enjoys long bike rides in the Florida sun, the sound of frogs after the rain, and planting trees for local retirement centers. “We just want to give back to this community that has given so much to us,” says sometime-sober guitarist Craig Godman. The band’s teenage-phenom drummer Brian Bowers agrees. “We’re buds with pretty much everyone here. Everyone loves us, and we love everyone.” ANCHOR ARM’s newly-released 7″, entitled “Milligrams,” is currently available at all Virgin Megastores worldwide, and also at Wayward Council (locals only) in Gainesville. A globe-spanning tour of world domination is in the works, and will surely be visiting a 30,000+ seat arena in your city soon.”

Ten years ago Arcade Skateboards had an amazing bunch of dudes on its team. A few short years later they were out of business. So is the wacky world of skateboarding. Nike SB recently dropped a great video of the recent Tampa Pro contest that took place on March 14.
The edit features some nice footage of Omar Salazar, Justin Brock and this year’s winner, Paul Rodriguez.
The Primitive owner took home top honours and $20,000USD in prize money.
Not bad for a day’s work!

German filmmaker Tilles Singer has recently released an amazing short animated skate film.
This utterly charming film was created with cardboard cut outs of skate photos and the contents of your average stationary shop.
According to Singer, it took “a ton of digital photos, a ton of real life magazines, an hour of recording music.”
If Wes Anderson and Michel Gondry teamed up on a skate, this is pretty much what they would have come up with…

Crumbs Bake Shop, the originator of the gourmet cupcake, is collaborating with the Tony Hawk Foundation to create a signature cupcake called the Tony Hawk SkateCake.
Proceeds from the sale of the SkateCake will help provide funds to build high-quality skateparks in low-income areas throughout the United States. In fact, Crumbs will donate $1.00 to the Tony Hawk Foundation from every SkateCake sold.
The SkateCake is available in all stores and online (shipping US wide) in Crumbs’ signature size until the end of the year.
The SkateCake is a combination of chocolate cake with sprinkles baked into the cake, vanilla cream cheese frosting, red and white sprinkles around the edges and topped with an edible skateboard that was designed by Tony Hawk himself.
“I believe in the importance of being active in your community,†said Tony Hawk. “Through developing the SkateCake with Crumbs Bake Shop, we are empowering our communities to help create skateparks for everyone to enjoy.â€
This is a great day for both skateboarders and fat dudes alike. I’m not sure how you guys are celebrating being alive today but me, I’m about to crush me one of these for sport.
