The year 2009 has come and gone, and now we’re adrift in the seas of 2010. This leaves me with one question, how are we abbreviating it, are we calling it 10, or O – 10, or just always going to say 2010. I haven’t gotten any memos on this, and I don’t want to to look uncouth, when I’m around all the raised pinky, ultra-ritgous, “very cultured” people who inhabit southern California. I think The Big O-Bam, as in Mr. Barack, should have a press conference to set the standard.
Anyway, it’s a new year! Forget about the last and do something big. Take A Leap of Faith if you will. And for a little inspiration here’s The Chief, Mr. Jamie Thomas himself, taking A Leap of Faith:

It seems like everyone is doing the best of this, and the best of that lately, because lets face it, it’s an easy creation. It pretty much makes itself. You don’t have to create anything, you just have to think about the best things that happened last year. I’ve been guilty of it three times in the past week. Below is one of the better 09′ look backs, with the man himself.
You’ll learn some important lessons like if you poop, then whip your butt with your sock, you might break break your neck, that’s according to Brian Anderson. Or if you want your dog to be a gangsta, stuff gun powder up his nose, that’s according to Mr. Smolik. Here’s some of the best Jake Phelps moments of last year courtesy of Thrasher:

One of my personal wishes for 2010 is to take more time to see what the designers for skateboard clothing, shoes and accessories are planning and actually putting out on the market. As I’ve always been more than just casually interested in this subject and because of the amount of companies actually contacting me in the past months, this is one of the directions I have always wanted to push Europeskate towards – I’ll be keeping the rest running as usual here, but I’ll just adding in even more posts about the newest products available.
Transworld Business has put together a nice preview of 19 different shoe brands describing some of their plans and changes for this year – enjoy the preview, just click here…

I’ve been scanning a bunch of film lately and found some gems. My plan is to post the good ones here, but the way I’ve been keeping up my blog…who knows.
