San Juan Capistrano is a quiet town at the base of Southern California’s Orange County. It’s famous for an old Mission that still stands there where Alfred Hitchcock filmed some scenes for his movie, “Vertigo.” Outside of that fleeting moment, and the swallows that return to the area each year, the town’s not known for much.
