Bristols Finest Review

There has been anticipation building around ‘Bristol’s Finest’ since Sidewalk announced it would be cover mounted on this months issue of Sidewalk and for good reason, Bristol’s skate scene is well and truly thriving.

The city has already produced some of the UK’s finest upcoming skaters including the likes of Korahn Gayle, Matt ‘Boyo’ Williams, Nicky Howells, Andy Makepeace, Dylan Hughes and many more. These guys are ripping and are helping raise the bar of UK skateboarding.

Judging by the vast array of spots in the video Bristol’s finest are making the most of their surroundings, you can expect big things from the Bristolians in the future.

The flick has some absolute bangers and the quality of the skating throughout is to a high level, some of the more standout tricks include a smooth bolt perfect 360 front tail from Dan Wileman, a huge front 360 down the Lloyds 3 and one of the most insane laser flips you’ll ever see from Korahn Gayle.

If you haven’t already grab yourself a copy of this months Sidewalk as ‘Bristol’s Finest’ is a must watch.

‘Skateboard Remix’ Fundraiser

The The ‘Skateboard Remix’ film night will be held on 16th December starting at 7pm and ending at 10pm.

The film will showcase footage edited by James Harris, James Whitlock, Rich Smith, Jed Brace & Dan Dicker.

Featuring such skaters as Ben Nordberg, Dan Dicker, Josh Arnott, Mike Cork, Kris Vile, Mike Williams, Jed Brace, Stefano Mussi, Joe Mercer, Matt the Whale, Jasper King-Harman, Dan Lacey, Luke Glanville, Matt Webb, Namir Al-Mukhtar, Gustave Savy, Ashton Launcherly, Jason Lewer, Mark Pritchard and many more!

PD Baby Resurfaces?

While on last year’s Baker Has a Death Wish tour of the south, the boys ran into the now infamous PD Baby. He was at one of the demos, and had “PD” written on his forehead in the classic Piss Drunx style. In case you’re a little slow “PD” stands for “Piss Drunx,” a skate crew that does just that. The baby has become a little bit of a legend, appearing on the artwork of the tour DVD, and on one of Dustin Dollin’s decks (pictured above).

Well, fast forward a year or so, while on the Street Carnage website I came across a video of what may just be the PD Baby. His behavior was pretty PD; runs out of his house, grabs a beer, steals the neighbors Christmas presents, one of which is a little girls dress which he puts on. If this isn’t the PD Baby, there may be some stiff competition for that title. The kid in this video seems like he’s pretty rad, check it out:

Max Fish (A NYC bar frequented by professional skateboarders, it’s like New York’s Cha Cha) better get ready for the storm that’s about to hit tonight, because Eli Reed is now a professional skateboarder for Zoo York, and I can guaran-dam-tee you there’s going to be some partying going down. The only problem is the Fish is going to be packed it’s Friday night, aka Amature Hour.
